Client: Zion City Kids
Type: Kids Vacation Bible School Campaign + Live Event Design
The Goal
For this summer’s Vacation Bible School, we needed to create a vibrant, high-energy brand experience that would excite kids and parents alike. The theme, “Fiesta VBSTA,” was designed to celebrate joy, faith, and community with a lively, colorful tone. Our challenge was to carry that energy across every creative touchpoint — from promotional materials to the in-person experience.
My Role
Led creative direction and concept development centered around a “fiesta” theme — playful, bold, and full of movement
Oversaw the design of a full campaign identity, including custom logo, color palette, character design, and type system
Directed a creative team in producing all digital and print promotional assets: social media graphics, registration materials, signage, and take-home kits
Wrote and directed all promotional video content, including countdowns and teaser reels for parents and kids
Developed the in-room experience with themed stage visuals, banners, motion graphics, and environmental branding
Partnered with kids ministry leaders to ensure creative alignment with curriculum and daily themes
Created custom t-shirts, stickers, signage, and fun-themed swag to engage children throughout the event week
Results
Successfully branded and executed a fun, engaging experience for hundreds of families during summer break
Social media campaign helped boost early registration and strong daily attendance
Creative elements created a memorable environment that kids and parents talked about well after the event
Team received positive feedback for the event’s energy, design quality, and thoughtful execution
